Warm greetings and Happy New Year to all of our San Clemente families. 2025 sees our cohort begin Year 10 in one of the most exciting times of San Clemente’s history. It is certainly a privilege to be a part of these moments.

Personally, it was humbling to be with our students again, and to observe their growing maturity. Following our opening liturgy, I gathered our cohort for the first time to outline some important moments in Semester One:

• The jerseys arrived!
• Cohort and individual photos (tick!)
• Swimming Carnival on Thursday 20th February
• Year 11 subject information night on Wednesday 7th May
• Year 10 mini-retreat: Thursday 15th May – Friday 16th May at Pt Wollstonecroft
• Semester One Exams from Monday 9th June

Already, the excitement for 2025 and beyond is building and students are talking with staff and peers about their options and what lies ahead. As I expressed to students in our meeting, there is a really positive feeling amongst our staff and greater community that preparations for 2026 are going really well and we feel more ready than ever. Should your family have any questions about 2026, we are ready to answer them and are happy to meet and discuss with you.
